NC2APool: Mr. President, you, Michelle and the girls have had a chance to review the online entry form. You fill in your name and email address at the top, pick the brackets and hit the submit button at the bottom. Do you think you’ll be able to figure it out ?

Barack Obama : Yes we can!

NC2APool : Ok – I was just concerned because we made some changes to the site this year.

Barack Obama : Change we need!

NC2APool: Thanks . . . I think. I understand that, now that you live in Washington, you are picking the local team — the Eagles of  American University — to win the championship. I’ve got to say that is a extreme pick on your part. What makes you think that they will win?

Barack Obama : Hope — Hope in the face of difficulty. Hope in the face of uncertainty. The audacity of hope!

NC2APool: OK . . . good luck with that. You know, if you were to win the pool, you would have to split the winnings 75% / 25%. Some people think that it should be “winner-take-all”. What do you think about that ?

Barack Obama : I think when you spread the wealth around, it’s good for everybody. But, listen, I respect what you do.
